Our Services

American Exterior Cleaning provides Pressure Washing, Soft-Washing, and Paver Sealing services to Tallahassee, Crawfordville, and surrounding areas. We are equipped and insured for residential and commercial work

House Washing

A house soft-wash means a low pressure cleaning using SH (sodium hypochlorite) and water solution, and rinse-down. This includes all siding, trim, soffits, patio ceilings, windows, and doors. Each house is evaluated before an estimate is given, as well as the specific desires of each customer.

Roof Soft-Washing

This service is intended to eliminate the growth of roof algae (gloeocapsa magma), as well as other forms of growth on roofs. The process includes removal of all debris from gutters, and a low pressure application of a SH (sodium hypochlorite), water, and surfactant (soap) solution. For asphalt shingle roofs, this solution is not rinsed, to avoid removal of roof granules and allow the solution to work to its greatest extent. With any roof wash, it is very important for us to protect landscaping, through ample watering before, during, and after the wash.

Concrete Cleaning

Driveways, sidewalks, and concrete patios can be brought back to life with a quality cleaning! To us, that means a pre-treatment with a sodium hypochlorite, water, and soap solution, high pressure cleaning, and post-treatment. The goal is to not only physically remove the dirt and algae on concrete, but to effectively treat the growth in the concrete

Paver Sealing

Paver patios are a large investment, and the purpose of paver sealing is to protect that investment. We use a water-based, pigment enhancing sealer to enhance the beauty of your pavers, and protect against stains, growth in the pavers, and sun damage. The process involves a thorough pre-cleaning, including a soft-wash, pressure wash, and joint cleaning via pressure wash. The patio is then re-sanded, and sealed when dry.

Deck and Fence Cleaning

Whether painted or unpainted, wooden decks and fences should be cleaned of mold and algae to promote longevity. For unpainted wood, growth in and on the wood holds moisture in the wood, creating a slippery surface, and encouraging wood rot. Growth on painted surfaces reduces the lifespan of the paint, and makes for a slippery deck, especially when wet.
